Kai Tiaki Nursing New Zealand is New Zealand’s number 1 nursing publication. It is the official publication of the New Zealand Nurses Organisation. Part of the organisation’s membership package it is mailed directly to the homes of some 46,000 nurses nation wide.
Nurses are often the first point of contact for many patients and the link between the doctor and pharmacy. There is strong anecdotal evidence that nurses have direct influence on the purchasing decisions within the primary health sector.
Membership reflects the wide range in specialisation, responsibility, remuneration and age, present in the health sector. Members are predominately female.
