Kaitiaki Nursing New Zealand is the official journal of the New Zealand Nurses’ Organisation, Tōpūtanga Tapuhi Kaitiaki o Aotearoa. We publish a range of health and nurse-related news, features, viewpoints and professional articles. All clinical practice, education and research articles are independently reviewed by expert nurses/researchers. Kaitiaki Nursing New Zealand has published under a variety of titles continuously since 1908 and became an online-only publication in 2022. Kaitiaki is the Māori term for carer or guardian.
